Welcome to Guilin HCM Machinery Official WebSite!
Developed by Guilin Hongcheng with over 30 years of expertise in grinding mill technology, the HMM Series Bowl Mill Coal Pulverizer is an efficient and energy-saving solution designed for coal powder preparation. It integrates grinding, drying and classification functions, offering excellent adaptability and reliable performance for direct-fired boiler coal systems. The equipment is widely used in thermal power plants, district heating, cement, coal chemical, steel and metallurgy industries.

It demonstrates strong adaptability to various coal types, capable of processing virtually all varieties, including inexpensive, low-quality coal.

Low vibration and noise, energy-efficient and eco-friendly, effective control technology for coal rejects (stone-coal mixture), and high discharge efficiency.

Static or dynamic separators can be selected as required, allowing for linear adjustment of pulverized coal fineness.

It features a simple and rational structure with no dead zones for dust accumulation, offers low ventilation resistance, withstands high explosion pressures, and operates safely and reliably.

There is no direct contact between the grinding rollers and the grinding bowl liners; the unit allows for no-load startup, operates smoothly, and offers a wide range of output adjustment.

The grinding rollers can be swung out directly for inspection and replacement, while the grinding bowl liners are assembled from smaller segments that can be handled manually, making maintenance convenient.

The grinding roller sleeve features wear-resistant alloy hardfacing, offering a long service life and the capability for repeated hardfacing, thereby reducing operating costs.

It has low requirements for foundation weight and factory building height, entails minimal investment in auxiliary equipment such as primary air fans, and results in low overall investment costs.

It utilizes a fully automatic PLC control system with remote control capabilities; it is easy to operate and maintain, thereby reducing labor costs.

Note 1: The basic capacity refers to the grinding capacity of the coal mill under the following operating conditions: the Hardgrove Grindability Index (HGI) of coal is 55; the passing rate of pulverized coal through a 0.075 mm sieve is 70%; and the total moisture content of coal on an as-received basis is ≤8% for high volatile bituminous coal and ≤12% for low volatile bituminous coal. Note 2: The maximum resistance of the coal mill is 4.5 kPa (for plain areas). Note 3: The service factor (SF) of the motors listed in the table is 1.15. |

The raw coal is fed into the coal mill through the raw coal pipe by the coal feeder. Driven by the electric motor, the coal mill operates through a reducer that drives the grinding bowl to rotate. The grinding rollers rotate along with the grinding bowl, crushing and grinding the raw coal fed from the central coal chute onto the grinding bowl until it reaches the required fineness for efficient combustion in the furnace.
The pulverized coal generated during the grinding process is thrown tangentially from the grinding bowl by centrifugal force and enters the separator under the conveying action of primary air supplied through the side body and blown upward by the bowl vane assembly. In the separator, coarse particles are separated and returned to the grinding bowl for further grinding, while fine coal powder is carried out of the separator by the primary air and delivered to the boiler for combustion. This circulation process continues continuously, completing the entire coal pulverizing operation.
