HLM barite vertical roller mill
In the samples from Majiang County and Kaili City, Guizhou Province, China, barite is thick plate with a particle size greater than 1mm, which belongs to easy to separate ores and can be easily purified by flotation. The sample has high whiteness and density, and its acid resistance is reduced due to the presence of dolomite in the sample. After acid leaching and roasting, the whiteness of the sample reaches more than 85%. The final barium sulfate content, iron content, volatile matter content at 105 ℃, water-soluble matter content and oil absorption of the sample meet the physical and chemical performance requirements of fine barite powder, and can be used as inorganic filler in rubber, plastic, paint, and radiation resistant coatings. The BaSO4 content of the original sample of Majiang County barite ore ranges from 90.65% to 94.54%, and that of Kaili City barite ore ranges from 87.67% to 92.73%, which conforms to the quality standard of barite for chemical industry. After further silicon removal and purification, most of them can reach the standard of Grade 1. In addition, the density of samples in Kaili City is more than 4.2g/cm3, but the calcium content is relatively high. All samples can be used as drilling barite after acid leaching treatment, and most of them can meet the special grade standard.
Barite samples from Zhenning County and Tianzhu County are still less than 85% in whiteness after acid leaching and roasting, and cannot be used as fine barite powder. Among them, the content of BaSO4 in the barite ore sample of Tianzhu County is 94.33% ~ 96.62%, and the content of SiO2 is low, both of which can meet the standard of superior barite for chemical industry - 2, and can be directly used in chemical related industries. The barite in Zhenning County has a BaSO4 content of 84.27%~95.76%, but a high SiO2 content, which can also be used in the chemical industry after removing SiO2.
The development of barite ore focuses on the application of its refinement, functionalization and compounding, and seeks new ways to develop high value-added barite products. In combination with the mineralogical characteristics of barite, the following suggestions are put forward for its future development and utilization:
(1) Continue to develop high-purity barium salts, such as barium salt fine chemicals. The grade of barite ore in Guizhou Province is generally high, which can basically meet the requirements for qualified barite for chemical industry (BaSO4 content is more than 83%). After simple purification, it can reach the quality of high-quality barite for chemical industry. Barium chemical industry is currently the most widely used field of barite, and is still an important direction for the development and utilization of barite resources in Guizhou Province.
(2) Modified barite to improve the performance of fine barite powder and prepare high-performance composites. It is found that the whiteness of the ores containing more than 95% BaSO4 in Guizhou barite after calcination can basically reach more than 85%, which can be added to materials such as paint, plastic, rubber, paint and ink as fine barite powder. For example, as the core material compounded with titanium dioxide, barite can effectively solve the problem of easy agglomeration of titanium dioxide and improve the photocatalytic property of titanium dioxide. At the same time, barite can also replace titanium dioxide and be added in the coating. In addition, the addition of modified barite powder can improve the compatibility between organic substances, and enhance the properties of coatings, plastics, rubber, etc. If barite is modified by stearic acid and stearate and added to the coating, the leveling property and glossiness of the coating can be improved; Adding nano barite to the resin coating can improve the T bending and strain properties of the coating, and greatly improve the corrosion resistance of the coating.
(3) Based on the radiation shielding property of barite, a high value-added barite radiation shielding concrete material was developed.
(4) Develop the next generation magnetic material barium ferrite. At present, barium nitrate is usually used as a barium source to prepare barium ferrite. Barite in Guizhou Province is of high purity, especially in Majiang County, which is very easy to purify, providing an excellent barium source. It may be used as a barium source to directly prepare barium ferrite. Without adding carbon, the mixture of hematite and barite ore is roasted at 1200 ℃ for 20h. Although the coercivity of the product obtained is obviously lower than that of the product made of pure matter, the specific saturation magnetization of the two products is almost close.
