The grinding process of limestone grinding mill machine mainly includes two types:
1. Open circuit process: The process in which materials pass through the mill once and are then processed as finished products for the next stage of operation;
2. Closed circuit process: When the material is separated by one or several stages after being ground, fine particles are used as finished products, and coarse particles are returned to the mill for further grinding.
The open circuit process is relatively simple, with advantages such as less equipment, less investment, and easy operation. However, because all materials need to meet the fineness requirements before they can be ground, overgrinding is prone to occur, and finely ground materials can easily form a buffer layer, hindering further grinding of coarse materials, greatly reducing grinding efficiency and increasing power consumption. Therefore, currently most limestone powder manufacturers choose a closed circuit process to reduce overgrinding, improve mill efficiency, and reduce energy consumption. In addition, the limestone powder produced by the closed circuit process has uniform particle size and is easy to adjust, which can meet different fineness requirements. The closed circuit process for producing limestone powder usually selects the limestone Raymond mill machine as the main grinding mill equipment.
The grinding process of the limestone Raymond mill machine: The limestone falls onto the belt conveyor through the hopper at the bottom of the silo and is then fed into the mill for grinding. Due to the centrifugal force acting on the grinding roller, it tightly rolls onto the grinding ring, and the material is picked up by the shovel and sent between the grinding roller and the grinding ring. Under the action of the grinding pressure, the material is crushed into powder. Under the action of a fan, the powdered material is blown out and classified through a classifier above the mill. The classifier is composed of a radial radial radial blade wheel and a transmission device. The blade wheel is driven by the transmission device to rotate at a certain speed, blocking the coarse particles in the airflow and grinding them back. The fine powder passes through the airflow screen and is sent to the cyclone separator, so the classifier plays a screening role. By adjusting the air volume or changing the blade wheel speed, the powder particle size can be freely adjusted. The cyclone separator separates qualified products from air, and the finished products are transported to the finished product warehouse through pipelines through a bucket elevator. The air flow is then returned to the blower for circulation through the return air duct. The material contains a certain amount of moisture, which will generate a certain amount of water vapor during grinding. Due to the incomplete sealing of the entire pipeline, a certain amount of external gas is sucked in, which increases the circulating air volume of the system. To ensure that the mill operates under negative pressure, the excess air volume enters the bag filter for purification and is discharged into the atmosphere.
