Comparison of Roller Mill and Vertical Mill

Vertical mill and roller mill are applied in cement grinding. The two kinds of equipment have special advantages and characters.

1. The product particle size of roller mill is around 32-90um. There may be small crack on the particle, which can increase the performance of product.

2. Roller mill do not have drying function, if material moisture is more than 6%, operation cost will be higher. But, if the moisture is lower than 5%, the mill will have 5% lower power consumption than vertical mill. So, apply roller mill for low moisture material is a good choice.
