FAQ on capacity and fineness of Guilin Hong Cheng grinding machine

Guilin Hong Cheng is a professional manufacturer of milling machines, various types covers HC series milling machine, HLMX ultra-fine vertical mill, HLM large vertical mill, HCH ring roller mill, as well as special materials milling machine special research and developed for special materials (Hong Cheng coal mill, Hong Cheng Bentonite grinding mill, Hong Cheng HCT17 ultra-fine titanium mill, etc.). 

Guilin Hong Cheng mill produced powder fineness different up to the different types of mill, listed as the following four categories:

1.80-400 mesh, pendulum mill as HC mill, HCQ, HC1000. This series of mill is also ok for customer who wants powder fineness of 600mesh but strongly recommends not, it will affect mill machine’s stability and service life.

2. 600-2000mesh powder can be directly produced by HCH ring roller mill. The smallest model--HCH780, can process 2500mesh but with low capacity. Moreover, 90% of HCH series mill users are processing calcium carbonate. Three specifications of 800mesh, 1250mesh and 1500mesh are very common while 2000 mesh is quite rare. For calcite, the finer of powder is, the capacity is lower.

3. HLM vertical mill is generally used for coal, slag, manganese ore, cement, limestone desulfurization and other fields, the fineness of these areas are the same which have uniform provisions. The powder outlet is greater than 420m2/kg. Cement, slag and other areas powder fineness unit is not mesh, not micron, but the specific surface area.

4. HLMX ultra-fine vertical mill is used for ultrafine powder, mainly used for calcium carbonate and other non-metallic areas, can directly process 10-45um powder, which is 1250 mesh the most fine can reach once. However, through the secondary classification process, fine powder can be sorted out from these finished products, that is 5um (2000 mesh).

Mill output of powder based on materials and fineness, not all the materials can be grinded to 2500mesh with capacity of 700t/h. For example manganese ore and slag cannot reach to 700 tons, or achieve 2500 mesh. (Manganese ore processing fineness is generally 90-100 mesh, slag processing fineness is 420㎡/KG)
