Analysis of Factors that Affecting the Effect of Grinding Aid

Grinding aids to be used in process of cement plant has become one of the effective energy saving measures in the cement grinding mill. As a technology which is beneficial to the cement enterprises to improve quality and reduce emissions, almost all the cement enterprises in industrialized countries are use grinding aids, but the grinding aid in China's is not ideal. The reasons are as following:

1. It should be particularly emphasized that the quality of the grinding aid products good or bad is not only depending on product itself, but also its technical service level. Service quality, attitude, friendly communication environment, is the premises of user to use grinding agent, and this is precisely the aspect that grinding industry need to improve.

2. Some small and medium-sized cement enterprises, especially the grinding station, purchased clinker intrinsic quality is instability, and cannot be better homogenization, combined with large slag moisture while without drying conditions, those are directly affected the use of grinding aids effect.

3. After the use of grinding aids, outlet fineness of cement (sieve or specific surface area) indicators is unreasonable; these control indicators are not been adjusted in time, thus affecting the use of grinding aids effect.

4. As the cement industry's technological conditions vary widely, after adding grinding aids, grinding aids cannot give full play to their own role, so the use of the grinding aids cannot meet the customer's expectations, resulting in the economic benefits of enterprises is not obvious.

Grinding agent has a very sensitive adaptability, its composition and content, the amount will all affect the effect. The adaptability is different according to the actual conditions of different customers to adjust the composition and dosage of cement grinding aids. The adaptability of the grinding agent is different for enterprises' cement and different clinker, different mix material and different materials, and it is suitable for different specifications of cement grinding mill.
